The company contacted me and sent a brand new waffle iron for free and apologized for the mistake. The new waffle maker was brand new, perfectly clean and well packaged. It works great too. Thank you Sure! Incredibly sad and disappointed. Bought this as a gift for my grandma's 92nd birthday and when it arrived the item was clearly in use. There was oil and crumbs on the box and on the box. It was such a shame my grandmother unwrapped what was supposed to be a brand new product and it was dirty and dirty.
