I bought this at first because I thought it might be unnecessary. I have a new Jeep with lots of leather and I didn't want my Doberman to scratch those delicate surfaces so I also bought a net to create a barrier between the back and front seats. The web worked until he got excited at our target - so he immediately jumped onto the web and landed his paws on the console. Now I will remember to put a cover on my console if I want to protect it from oversized paws with big claws! I want it for temporary use and don't really care about its cosmetic appearance.
