Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Schwinn Rear Bike Rack: Optimized Bicycle Accessories for Enhanced Performance by Robert Correa

Good stand but may have installation issues.

The rack itself is nice and strong, another issue is installation. This stay required the saddle stem to be raised high enough to make room for the tire (probably a bigger issue with our larger 700mm wheels/tires). My wife's stem also has a one-bolt damper seat at the top of the stem, which further limits the top mounting position of the stem. In fact, in order to maintain the correct pedaling position, I had to grind the perimeter of the shock bolt to fit the bracket mounting hole. Also, some of the plastic mounting inserts had to be cut out to make room for the shock bolt. Also, I installed the plastic rack inserts upside down. In the end, I got everything to match her. As previously mentioned, tightening the strut to stay square over the wheel is difficult. In fact, I even cut one of the two mounting screws in half. Luckily I still had one in my stash of goodies. If it didn't have a gel seat on top of an already pretty soft seat, I could raise the stem up a bit and avoid most of my issues. If you're short and your stem is down when you ride, you might want to consider something else.
