I have four of these now and have always been happy with them. However, I recently had an issue with one of them, which prompted me to request a refund. The person I interacted with was very nice and seemed genuinely interested in helping me get the money I felt I owed. I had to provide multiple receipts whenever possible, fill out a damage claim form and draw a diagram of my installation. All of this was very reasonable. This person checked me in, was informative and easy to get a response when needed. A replacement item was sent to me immediately and it took several weeks for my claim to be processed and a check sent to my inbox. I got a refund and I'm happy. Sometimes something happens to a product and when that happens it really matters how the company treats the customer. I will definitely continue to buy surge protectors from Tripp Lite because they are well made and have great customer service.
