The new carburetor replacement took just over a week to arrive, was well packaged and had all the parts promised. This was my first attempt at removing the old stock carburetor and installing a new one; To be honest I doubted it would fit/work. Needed to replace the original ethanol soaked GY6 (took forever to start, ran bumpy, 45-60 seconds of acceleration from standstill to top speed, could barely hit 34mph). Removing the old carburetor was easy. , and compared to the new device, it turned out to be a perfect fit. The installation was relatively easy (it was decided to use the existing air filter), the whole job took less than an hour. The first launch was unexpected. After three long turns of the throttle stick and two five second long pushes on the starter button, the engine started, ran smoothly and required only a minor adjustment in idle speed (1/4 turn of the screw). The first road test was a real shock. Acceleration from standstill to a top speed of 42 mph (24% increase) was 8 seconds with no "jumps" or hesitation. I am satisfied with the product, the price and the performance and can only recommend it.
