If you're buying a shower toilet seat, you probably already know how great it is. Almost incomparably more hygienic, saves time, reduces toilet paper, saves you the hassle of drying yourself off after a spicy meal, the list could go on. After using it for a while, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it. I chose Brondell because my parents have a Brondel Swash 1000 and it had everything I wanted. I was tempted to buy Toto as the brand seems to be well established across Japan, but the brondel has all the same important features, plus a lid you can sit on without breaking and a controlled, soft close ( ie the toilet lid doesn't close.), plus about half the cost. Just do a Google search for "bidet toilet seat comparisons" and you'll see the features side-by-side. Main features are: front and rear wash, 3 seat temperatures, 3 water temperatures, 3 water jet widths, I believe 7 pressure levels (highest narrow). the pressure will break you down every time, I guarantee). Deodorizer, sterilizer, bowl pre-spray to keep it clean while moving, motion function, dryer with different temperatures and I think 7 position positions are enough for the physical area to clean wherever you need it. The blue night light also looks cool in the dark. It also has an eco mode and some memory settings that I never use. Very easy to install, just needed a flathead screwdriver, my hands and about 20 minutes, all necessary connectors/hardware included. I'm lucky my bathroom already has a GFI, but I plug the toilet into a short extension cord since the GFI is next to the bathroom light and out of reach of the toilet. I only have 2 issues with the seat. First, the seat is about a half inch or an inch in front of the edge of the toilet (I have a standard size round toilet and bought a round seat). I think this is unavoidable given the length required to store the jets as well as all the hardware inside that needs to be placed on an American toilet with a cistern that close (however if the toilet's cistern is remote from the toilet , you can adjust the toilet). seating position as far back as necessary). For women it probably doesn't matter, but for men things need to be moved. See attached photos. My second issue is that the rear window sometimes doesn't retract fully and splashes on me a bit when cleaning. This is easily solved by pressing the "Nozzle" button to extend the nozzles to clean and then retract them, but it's a bit annoying. This seems to be just a minor flaw with my particular seat. I would deduct a star for the 2 issues above but the truth is I love this seat so much I would still give it a 98% satisfaction rating.
