Expensive BUT very happy with the size and strength of this tray.

I ordered this tray after seeing a review from Hook's Holland on their YouTube channel. That was all she said and I introduced my 4 bunnies to it as soon as it came in the mail. My rabbits were initially reluctant to use this tray as they are used to standing upright on their litter and not the way this tray is constructed which has a grid to keep them from touching the litter. I installed a hay rack just above the box and put some hay right on the grate which prompted them to use the new box. If your rabbit is having a hard time transitioning to this type of setup, try adding some of their dirty litter every time you change them until they get used to the box. If you're interested in the size, trust me I've thought about ordering this box as well. My largest bunny is just under 4 pounds and you could 100% pack another bunny of the same size and still have room. The rabbit in the photo I've attached isn't fully grown yet, so it's probably not the most useful example for a size reference. If you have a large rabbit like the Flemish Giant, Continental Giant or Checkered Giant I wouldn't buy this product but I think it will work for a rabbit up to 7 or 8 pounds. I agree that the price of this tray is outrageous and it's hard to justify buying what is essentially a durable plastic, but my bunnies are something I'm happy to put my time and money into, so I see it more as an investment.
