The first thing I noticed was the strong smell of leather. It's fading fast, but it's reassuring that it's the original. I gave the wallet to my husband and he first removed the extra cardboard and then the extra plastic card holders. He doesn't carry as many discount cards as I do, and the extra plastic got in the way. The card slots in the wallet case are narrow. He pocketed his credit cards vertically. They seem safe for now. I don't know how important the RFID feature is, but I've been embarrassed in the past when a workplace-issued ticket set off a shoplifting alarm, so the locking feature should at least prevent that. It is made in India from leather and polyester. It was packaged in a brown box with the Leather Architect brand logo on it.
