If you cook often/quickly, you should definitely have one on hand! I use my Presto autoclave at least 5-6 times a year and each of those "times" involves multiple canning/sealing rounds. Eventually the overpressure seal and plug will wear out, so having these two packs ready to go can mean the difference between a wasted batch or being able to conserve as much of your harvest in the most efficient way! They fit perfectly in my autoclave (as they should as they are a Presto product!) and the price for 2 packs compared to our local stores (Walmart and Fleet Farm) couldn't be beat!
