BUT, I'm used to it, and I'm even glad I can be in another room and hear it clicking, and I'm smiling because I know it's killed another nasty bug. ONLY INSIDE. Put it in a safe place where children and animals cannot fall over, or you can also hang it up. Keep away from moisture/water. Mine is in a corner on a bookshelf, away from everyone and everything. This thing is so powerful that it scatters small bug fragments around the front and back of the device, although there is a tray for collecting dead bugs. When I used this in combination with plug-ins (see review) and a rechargeable fly swatter (see review) I killed about 95% of the insects in the house in about 2 days. I have fruit flies. I thought it was just my poor cleaning but several people said they had problems this year too. Is worth 40€ to me. 5 Stars.
