I needed to replace the connectors on my Mercury outboard voltage regulator. The original looks like it overheated and melted from poor contact. I received them in the hope that they would be near waterproof for marine use. They are not waterproof or even waterproof. After connecting, I used a water-repellent lubricant on the outside to prevent condensation from forming. A few months after the repair, I discovered that Mercury had its own OEM connectors. If I have trouble with these LALA connectors I will switch them to Mercury.
