That's exactly what I need for my table! The only thing I would change is the thickness underneath to hold papers (but I didn't buy it for that, so won't rate based on that). I have an older refurbished Dell laptop. 15 inches wide but feels so heavy compared to more modern computers. This stand will hold him up without a single worry in the world. It's hard to set up but I don't move it, I only use it to hold my laptop higher. It's durable and doesn't wobble. (Well maybe, but if you read the very clear setup instructions you'll realize it's user error and fix it). I won't rate it by that. This product is exactly what I was looking for and it works better than expected!
