Better hope your $80 tip doesn't go bust.

To save money I bought this model, unlike CP 9361, which is more than doubled. Big mistake. Like many of you, I use a CNC typewriter with pneumatic guides. The first major problem with this block is that it is not launch compatible, or in other words it will sometimes stall until the tip hits. This would not be a detrimental problem when using portable devices, but it would be a major problem for automation. The second problem is that it sometimes freezes and then turns back on, which is annoying to hold in your hand but totally unacceptable for automation. After all, the tip only took about 25 minutes of writing. When I looked at the replacement tip and saw that it was $80 I requested a refund. The CP 9361 is more money upfront, but it's a high-end unit and while replacement tips aren't cheap, they're only $22. So if you're considering this for automation or heavy use, spend the extra money and get a high-end model.
