I really liked the collar when I received it, but it got dirty in less than a week. I tried washing it (by hand) many times and couldn't get rid of the brownish color. I have a labrador puppy that loves mud and water so I shouldn't have gotten a white collar. But I expected it to be washable. I've had the collar for a little over two months and it's very faded (pic) and started to tear. It's not because she chewed on him. So if you have a less active dog that doesn't spend much time outside, it's likely to last longer. I expected it to last more than two months despite the cheaper price.
