My use case is slightly different, so this review is partly to help others with the same problem and partly to verify the product itself. I ordered it as a longer subwoofer. for the cable that comes with the Mistel Barocco Split keyboard. The one that comes with the keyboard is much shorter. This cable works well as long as the host connector is connected to the left side. It won't work in the opposite direction. The cord itself appears to be folded decently; it is neither too thin nor too bulky. Swaddling is a good thing; The added compactness is ideal for travel. The connectors wiggle a bit but the serial cable doesn't, but I suspect that's because they're a bit longer than the serial cable. It's not a deal breaker as it doesn't affect functionality. All in all, it's a cable that carries data and power as intended.
