The surrounding patch is smaller than the picture and so flimsy and flimsy you'll drop it as soon as you put it on touch. The water is actually gone. It's hard to get it to stick - it's awkward - a pain in the butt trying to pry them off the sticky base and try not to touch the edges. Also for some reason when the box arrived there was very very very strong soap or perfume inside which is so undesirable. It wasn't a medicinal smell. I think the boxes were next to the soap or something. The whole bathroom smelled. I would have gone back but it just wasn't worth it and I had to use something, didn't have time to order another. I used medical tape, I had to get them taped. I've used a few, many of them have been discarded from use. Maybe I got an old batch, who knows. I will never use anything from Nexcare because now I'm tormented that what says on the box isn't quite right. So sorry for writing a negative review but I try to stop others from wasting money especially when they are in dire need of something great. Go with other patches - I went to CVS and got others. Also, the seller may make them more comfortable and less flimsy if he knows. How did it pass quality control? I'm sorry but I had an operation and wanted to cover myself in the shower and was very disappointed. Thanks for listening.
