Review on 🔲 15 Piece Square Blank Stencil Sheets: Create Personalized Mylar Templates & Stencils with Cutting Machines – 12x12 inches by Kelly Caballes

This is a nice thick stencil material, but it turned out to be too difficult to work with in my silhouette. It's a bit brittle and can chip and tear when trying to release an intricate pattern, even with the strongest blade and 4-5 passes. It was hit or miss, but there were a few "failures" for me. I had to go with a precision knife and cut out dots and lines that just refused to cut all the way through. I broke a few areas on smaller and more complex drawings *sigh*. It also has a strong chemical smell, almost like rubbing alcohol (?), and I spent some time checking to see if I had spilled anything before realizing it was this stencil material. If you want a really strong stencil, that's probably great, but it just doesn't work for my needs or the machine. At this point I'm worried about breaking the blades trying to cut them and going back to Amazon for something thinner and more flexible.
