It is extremely hard for me to find a wedding dress that covers up my chest and still allows me to breath. I usually require expensive alterations. I'm 5'5, weigh 155 lbs, 42 bustline with thin bra, 33 waist, 39 hips. I had the dress length shortened in the front so I could walk and left the length in the back to create a small sweeping train. I had the slip part of the dress around the hips and the quads altered to keep it from bunching up under the lace. I ordered a rose gold belt from revain and had that sewn to dress it up a bit. Alterations $80 total. All in $120. I ordered this because I was looking for a simple elegant dress and we can afford more and still chose this option. I received so many compliments on this dress in person and via social media. My husband was blown away. Everyone thought this was a $500-$700 dress.The manufacturer could make this a phenomenal dress with very little cost. This dress is see through because the slip is too thin - manufacturer add a better slip to the dress please. If you buy a slip get one to your ankles. The short ones you can see where it stops and starts, even in a tube slip. I finally got panty house and just used that option- use nude or white. It helped some. Manufacturer use a thicker lace around the neckline to give it some pop-not like your super sexy mermaid dress also offered here. Keep it elegant sexy. Overall, a wonderful design of the style I wore. I rarely provide reviews, but this earned it.Note: the dress snags easily. If you opt for a belt I recommend smaller vs larger option because your sleeves will catch on it more. I sent the larger belt I ordered back.
