Review on Elite Screens CineTension 96 Inch Diagonal by Eric Hartman

I really wanted this product and this company and have done my best to work with them to resolve any issues. This company clearly has a monopoly on screens due to lack of quality control and customer service. Since I needed a stretch screen with an additional 24 inch drop, I couldn't find another option. I have to order from Elite and they know it. First, shortly after purchase, I found that the same screen was over $150 cheaper at their Revain store. When I asked if they would match the price, they said they wouldn't, even with them, which is so stupid. If I buy directly from their site, which saves them Amazon commission, I get penalized and have to pay more HORRIBLE business tactics. My first screen was defective (horizontal creases that wouldn't go away) so instead of sending it back they let me destroy it and refunded my money. I'm grateful for the refund but frustrated that they wouldn't even let me take me back to their warehouse to keep the parts. Such a waste. The replacement fixed the screen issues but as soon as I dropped the screen the bar was visibly damaged as you can see in the photos. They gave me a discount to compensate but they clearly have ZERO quality to drive their products. It cannot be possible that this damage occurred during shipping as it was boxed. You can also see from the wide photo that the screen retracts unevenly. Another quality control issue. They told me to hang a 1lb weight on the higher side to see if it would pull it down, but I'm too scared to cause any harm. Overall, I'm very unimpressed with the $1300 product. Does the screen work? Yes, it had errors right away and there was no solution to fix them? Yes. Would I ever buy from them again or recommend them if I had a choice? Never. I would never run my business the way they do. I really hope other companies start making more screens because they obviously don't care anymore.
