The seemed like a good solid level at first, but there are a few problems with it. First, is that the level is only designed to be used on one side-there is only one machined surface. You can try to use the non-machined surface, but it is narrow and wobbly. Having to orient the level to one side all the time is going to get annoying fast. The second thing is that my unit has some sort of debris stuck inside it so that whenever you move it there is a rattling noise. I liked the clear acrylic plastic and that does make viewing a easier. The rubber handles are nice, too, but I don’t think nice handles and acrylic plastic viewing ports can overcome the other shortcomings.
