Okay, a decent rest.

I bought this for my trips to the local coffee shop. It was a great fit for my laptop, but I was uncomfortable carrying it around with me. The key is one of those barrel keys that doesn't really fit my existing keychain either. I can't say if this ever stopped the theft, but I still have my laptop. (If anything it's a preventive measure, if someone REALLY needs a laptop they can get one.) I've noticed that my laptop looks a bit flimsy and I felt like I could just rip it out of the laptop, but it could just be my dv7.
