At first I thought it would be a very good buy, bought two of them for visitors a few months ago and actually wanted to order another one TODAY, for my bed, the way it looked comfortable, light and yet very comfortable. It was only used as a winter quilt in the guest room with duvet cover. Now in spring I washed it to clean it. Thing melted in the dryer - ON LOW HEAT. The fiberfill (an alternative to down) was fine, REAL FABRIC melted. The picture doesn't show exactly how stiff the fabric is and also the sticky hard residue in that area. I checked the label again and according to the manufacturer everything should be fine. I didn't find a gas release, but honestly. Who knows!? Now that I've seen this, I'll throw in another one. Lesson learned. The price was right when it worked as expected. If you buy it, maybe you can hang it to dry. In that case it should work. But if you're the kind of person who expects to use an item according to the manufacturer's instructions and doesn't want to spend the extra money to replace the junk you bought from Revain, you might want to give it a third or fourth time before you buy think this.
