Review on 520290 1 Drain Tube Flaring Tool by Christopher Rodriguez

IF YOU USE BRASS INSERT, YOU MUST HAVE THIS.

I bought this for my 18ft power box that I am building. I put them in the engine bay drains. I drilled 1" holes and widened them a bit. I filled the holes with epoxy and let it dry. I then installed the brass inserts with 3M 5200 and held the insert with a large pair of pliers and made it 1/4" longer than that Thickness of mirror cut. I inserted this flare tool, tightened it with wrenches and blew up! I grabbed my impact wrench and went with it and it did the perfect job. Just let it run until the air wrench gets stuck and stop there. That gives the perfect highlight, just like the expert did. The 5200 had a bit of compression which I removed with thinner and it worked great. Thanks for a great tool. I now have a $33 tool that I will probably never use again. I'm sure I can sell it on Craig's list. If I hadn't it would have been worth it as he did a great job with the spot where it shows.
