I've been using this hub on my HP laptop for a few days now. While this seems to work, I've noticed erratic keyboard and mouse behavior after installation. They're both owned by Logitech and connect via a multi-device USB receiver that's not connected to a hub. Both devices freeze for a few seconds every now and then. I replaced the batteries in both devices if that was the problem, but that didn't fix the issue. I found that the adapter on the hub that allows you to connect to a full size USB port is not fully connected to the cable. It's possible that the connector on the adapter isn't tight enough, which is why I'm losing the connection. However, in this case, as a rule, the laptop signaled the connection of a new device when the connection was restored. I'm not getting this message, so I'm inclined to think the hub isn't fully compatible with my HP laptop. If this continues, I can return the hub.
