I felt compelled to write this review: Sometimes when I see a few negative reviews but most of the reviews are good, I decide to take a risk and buy. Here it was, but it was a mistake. The rest of the negative reviews about leaks are absolutely true. Here's my experience: I saw this brand on sale when it was deal of the day. I have a Brother MFC-8950DW so I bought the matching toner and photoconductor. At first the print seemed nice. However, the toner smudges very easily. So when I wanted to scan different documents, the toner smeared and I had to reprint almost 100 pages and then scan again. This took about 30 minutes of my time. However, the worst happened a few days after installing the toner and drum. The toner started leaking. There were toner smudges on the paper. Based on another reviewer's statement that a leak destroyed his printer, I quickly removed the toner and drum and replaced them with the original drum and toner I had as there was still some life in them. The spots went on for the next 5-10 pages or so but then stopped. Thank God! When I packed up the toner and drum to return to Revain, the toner spilled and covered my hands. So if you are on the fence about how I related to this company and their printer supplies, do yourself a huge favor and don't make the same mistake I did by taking a chance. Stay away! It's a shame because Brother accessories are overpriced. I tried another brand of toner with a Brother drum (this is the toner I was looking to replace) but the print is much lighter than the Brother toner. At least it doesn't flow. So I still haven't found any unbranded Brother supplies that match the quality of Brother supplies. Right now I'm thinking about spending money on Brother branded products as right now I'm paying for wasted time and working with disgusting prints to save some money for advance on items. itself.
