This is for use with my pair of 4.5 inch studio monitors placed on two yoga blocks for acoustic isolation. First, here are the actual measurements, which are the same as advertised, except the front is slightly taller than advertised: Bottom: 7.25" x 5.06" Height: 4.75" to 5.25" (5.0" only with front pressure / 0 degree tilt) Top: 6.125" x 5.06" (front edge to supporting back) First impressions were that they are much heavier than I expected and the construction very solid is. My monitors weigh about 8 pounds each and don't affect tilt at all. When on, they should easily handle another 5 pounds. With this combination of height and angle, the driver is now perfectly aligned with my ears, and next to one much better looks there is a noticeable improvement in sound over molded units Generous floor space allows for DAC/amp/stacks and all cables can be routed neatly through the opening between the columns The rubber pads work well and I have kei felt a vibration on the table. They can be too wide and deep for smaller speakers (2-2.5 speakers) but are great for medium sized speakers.
