I don't know if it's because the aluminum is quite thick, but you have to extend the baking time with them. I've baked quick bread and meatloaf in it and both took 1 1/2, almost double the normal! This has never happened before with disposable pans. Otherwise it's a good size for bread, meatloaf and the like, especially for freezing or as a gift, just warn anyone you give them to that they need to bake longer.
