Review on ๐ŸŒฑ Lola Eco Clean Bamboo and Tampico Scrub Brush: Naturally Sustainable Cleaning Tool for Home and Kitchen by Margaret Thornhill

Great concept; Hands On Care

Our family wants to encourage more companies to create sustainable, abuse-free products, so we were thrilled when we did this did I saw this as a replacement for our cheap Target shower scrubber. This is a very nice piece, especially for a tile scraper. The wood is smooth and comfortable to hold, with no splinters. And the material dries surprisingly quickly. We deducted one star for functionality: The bristles deform very quickly with use - and not particularly hard (it's a washcloth, after all). After drying, however, they come back. We can't tell if the problem is manufacturing (how the bristles fit into the holes in the wood block) or the nature of the natural fibers. We rotate the block to reveal the entire shower/bathtub. It takes a little longer than our old plastic mop, but we're willing to pay the price to encourage the use of more sustainable products. One benefit we didn't expect is that the scrubber looks so inviting that we're now enjoying a bi-weekly bathroom cleaning routine. (Nearly.)
