Note the strong smell of the packaging

I was hoping to use it the same day it arrived but the chemical smell from the plastic packaging was SO STRONG. We sat on the mattress for about 5 hours airing it before use but it wasn't enough. We ended up having to wake up our daughter and take the mattress out of the box. Her hair and sleeping bag smelled awful. The mattress seems very comfortable but I hope the smell will go away so we can use it.
