No problem. I have a D-Link router 5 years ago. I wanted to improve the coverage so I could use my tablet on the second floor terrace. I have a sloping roof that greatly reduces the signal strength outside the house. I plugged one of these into an outlet just outside the patio doors and it works great. Setup using the WPS one-button method. Done in less than 5 minutes. It has been running continuously since September 2014. The signal level on the deck is from 10% (usually it cuts out when I close the door) to a very stable 85-90%. I am happy. Updated 2/26/16. Changed the rating to one star. I removed my old D-Link router about a month ago. I subscribed to Verizon FIOS and they have the most advanced router out there. The repeater kept disconnecting from the router. I'm not new to home network setup and troubleshooting. I pulled the plug and everything was fine again. In any case, the new router has a significantly greater range.
