I am pleased to connect to my laptop. Plug and play was good, the drive was recognized immediately with no issues and I took the HD to a safe place, unplugging and plugging it again and again while moving, especially vertically. Trible checked for loose connections to my laptop and the cable connecting the case and HD. Everything is safe and sealed. But it got disconnected a couple of times until I put it away. (Lots of other buyers wrote the same thing, thinking they'd already fix it and taking a risk.) Didn't want to break my HD and immediately removed the HD and sent this case back.
