I bought this case for my 10 year old son's tablet. The tablet fits snugly in the plastic case, although the plastic is brittle and feels cheap. However, thanks to the silicone coating, the tablet feels secure. There are many protrusions on the silicone that fit into the plastic case so it fits with no gaps. The plastic makes you wonder how long the stand will last; the time will show. I had to remove the case to insert an SD card later. Oh my goodness! I may not know how to remove it (although I've removed many Otter Box plastic cases without this kind of frustration), but it took me at least 5 minutes with a tiny screwdriver to pry the tabs apart and free the tablet. Luckily it didn't break.
