I was very excited about this product but when it arrived it was shattered into a million pieces. From what I was able to assemble from unbroken parts this is a very nicely made item. It's simple but elegant. The only reason it gets four stars is that I noticed that the glue used to stick the shiny part of the aluminum shelf to the glass had some bubbles which spoiled the beauty of the product. I ended up sending the product back and refusing a replacement. The benefit is that the glass on this item is tempered, which means that if it does break it will shatter into small pieces rather than razor sharp shards. Be careful when purchasing this product. The packaging is flimsy and does not provide enough protection to withstand the abuse that UPS and FedEx use on their packages. If you can find this product at your local store, or are willing to take the risk and buy it anyway, you'll end up with a pretty cool speaker rack.
