Decent product but I hate the company

Update: I still think the stands are ok, I won't change my rating but Mount-it's support is DREADFU L. They have stopped responding when i was* *trying to give them my money** for a spare part. They said the part was in stock, gave me a price, and then ignored me for months. I emailed several times, once from a different account in case my email filtered out their replies for some reason, but no, everything was fine; they just don't respond anymore. No luck with calls either. Incrediblyโ€ฆ

No quality control and cylindrical columns resonate (updated)

I bought a couple of these and thankfully didn't have to wait long before assembling them. Was able to return them for a replacement. In fact, one of the cylindrical columns was cut at an angle, so the top plate slanted when assembled, which is totally unacceptable for speaker placement. Aside from the quality control issue. The build was a pretty simple play on words. The bottom plate is thick and heavy, so actually good. However, aluminum pillars "ring" like a bell when tapped, which isn'tโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High score for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not the best

Great thing, but beware.

I was very excited about this product but when it arrived it was shattered into a million pieces. From what I was able to assemble from unbroken parts this is a very nicely made item. It's simple but elegant. The only reason it gets four stars is that I noticed that the glue used to stick the shiny part of the aluminum shelf to the glass had some bubbles which spoiled the beauty of the product. I ended up sending the product back and refusing a replacement. The benefit is that the glass on this

Made for carpet, but there's a great solution for hardwood floors.

These units are very good, but they are designed for carpeted floors. I was aware of this and found an additional item on Amazon that prevents touching bare metal on a solid wood floor. It's made of very soft rubber and holds 5 to 10 pounds on each pad. They use 4 pads per base, which is between 20 and 40 pounds. After placing 3M adhesive-backed rubber pads on the bottom, I placed the stand on a wooden stool and my wife held our 27-pound toddler on it. The supports prevented the contact of theโ€ฆ

Poor Quality Control

One of the most disappointing products I have purchased from Revain. Quality control is obviously poor. The first stand assembled correctly, but the glass base was scratched and part of the black backing chipped off near the bolt hole. Not a big deal I thought as the pillar would mostly cover the damage and as I wanted function not form. I then went to the second stand and found that one of the nuts securing the base was unthreaded. I have no idea how the unthreaded nut ended up in the shipping

Pros
  • Hollow center post with access to cable management so you can hide cords/cords out of sight!
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Elegant and attractive speaker stand

) I think the combination looks great! The speaker stands have a sleek, modern aesthetic with black glass, aluminum, and chrome accents. The stands are solid and I like that they have slots to route the speaker cords over the center speaker so they don't just hang down the back. Easy to assemble, the coasters come with extra sticky rubber pads if you're installing the coasters on a wooden floor, or pointed triangular metal tips if you're putting them on carpet and want a more aggressiveโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Thick aluminum alloy and slim tempered glass design. The top shelf has a quarter inch thick glass
