The finish is excellent, uniform and shiny, they lay down easily and I am very satisfied. I also used both air tools on the front (close enough to my compressor) and hand tools on the back to install them and there was no physical damage to the finish. Can't comment on reliability or rust resistance yet, but for $12 I wouldn't be offended if I had to replace them after a few years. Although they do get a little rusty after a few years, I'd rather swap them out every now and then than mess with the stainless steel caps on OEM or Gorilla style nuts. Case in point: I had to UNLOCK and replace 3 bolts because my old nuts at the tire shop were stripped so badly that even my extraction tools couldn't grab the button head that was under the flimsy OEM stainless steel cover.
