Comfortable and very cute boots! I thought for a long time whether I should take it or not. In the end I took a gamble and bought two sizes - my usual size is one and a half larger. The regular size felt too tight and I could tell they would become uncomfortable if I tried to walk in them for a long time. Half the size seemed too big to me! But in the end I got what I wanted by tightening the laces. They are really comfortable and warm and I can walk in them for a while with no problem. No toe splay issues - plenty of room but not slack (again, you'll need to tighten the laces to get to that point). The best part is that after properly tightening the laces, you only need one zip to get your boots on and off. The only thing I still notice is a slight restriction at the ankle, but again it's a boot, not a sock. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. However, I've only had them for a week or two. hope they hold up!
