I bought 3 sets of 2 collars for my 5 dogs. And one was given to a neighbor. One collar was not working on arrival and after a phone call CS replaced it with no problem! Now all 6 collars are working properly. Just vibrating works most of the time. I had to use a shock on one of my dogs who was a bit more stubborn, but all showed amazing results in a very short time. I used it consistently for about a week. Then you don't need a collar. This week (about 3 weeks after purchase) I had to use them again for a new limit training session. These are training collars that will NOT put your dog collars on or leave them on for life. I don't feel the need to keep them on all the time when I see a dog respecting boundaries or commands. I tested the battery life for the first week by leaving them on all day and charging at night for about 12 hours and they worked flawlessly! I do notice a slight hiccup in shock mode, sometimes not delivering, but for the price I'm thrilled! I really like that they can come with me, so traveling by car and public places is not a problem either. Going from dog to dog is easy too! I labeled each controller so I know which channel goes with which collar.
