This thing was legit real carbon fiber and good quality of materials were used. However, the brackets that are attached only accommodate a certain thickness of hose clamp. If you have an air intake that is 3.5” or larger (OD), then I would seriously look into further detail if the bracket will actually accommodate your air intake filter hose clamp. Mine was a premium belville constant torque type hose clamp and it was about a millimeter too wide of a clamp, and therefore this shield didn’t fit. The $25 competitor with the steel shield brackets did fit, so they’re not all only accommodating cheap, thin hose clamps like this one.
