Review on Lisle 12390 Dual Drive Oxygen Sensor Wrench: A Versatile Tool for Efficient Sensor Maintenance by Sedric Hood

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I used a socket and this socket and an extension cord to loosen a 16 year old rusty O2 sensor.

When the car was on low ramps and I was on my back I didn't have enough leverage to disengage it. The sensor was in a hard-to-reach spot, but allowed the 6" extension to come out of the 1/2" socket hole at about a 45* angle. I slipped my 3 ton jack under the car, placed it under the extension, stood up to avoid damaging it and slowly began pumping the jack. I was blown away that each little pump actually lifted the car up and then back down. I understand that it is either weakened or the sensor is rounded. Success! I don't think any other O2 line could handle this technique. This piece of iron took it and then some. The best value for money I've ever bought. This should be missing from every handyman's toolbox.
