Good value for money

So I decided to start this review by saying I'm a professional audio engineer, have been working for a while and am quite picky about microphones. I bought this microphone for a specific application, my daughter's virtual school classes. They have live chats every day, and the webcam we bought for my daughter's older computer had a built-in microphone that barely showed on the sound level meter at full power in the Windows audio settings. No one heard what she said, so I decided to find an alternative, inexpensive microphone that had great sound quality so everyone could hear her clearly. very high performance. At just 40% volume in Windows, the level meter was maxed out and my daughter could hear very well with the microphone 2 feet away. The sound quality is honestly really amazing. It's significantly better than I expected for $30, and I'd say it really competes with many other mics that have advertised similar specs, and clearly breaks the mold of what's expected of mics in the sub-$100 range . As someone who really despises USB mics outside of video game chat and the like, I would have no hesitation in buying this mic again. I would say this mic would be very good for podcasts, game chats and vocal demos. clearly does everything we hoped it would and more for virtual learning applications
