Looks like you're in witness protection

I've had this mic for 48 hours now. I use it for conferencing on my PC with Teams and Zoom. In about 50% of my meetings, the microphone sound quality deteriorated to the point where it sounded like I was one of the participants with a blurred face and altered voice for 60 minutes. I should have learned my lesson after it happened twice on important calls but I didn't and it happened a few more times before finally giving up and going back to the headset. Disappointing.**Update**. I returned the

Great mic for the money

I bought this mic because like a lot of other people I work from home and have Zoom/Webex/Microsoft Teams calls on a daily basis. While the audio from my headphone mic was adequate, it sounded awful and echogenic to me, so I really wanted to improve my audio setup. This mic does a GREAT job and is very easy to set up, literally plug and play. It's very sensitive, so the ideal is to place it on a shock-absorbing pad on your desk, about 8 inches to a foot from you, and just speak naturally…

Great microphone at an affordable price

I'm always on the lookout for inexpensive microphones as I often record a lot of audio for various professional purposes. This one strikes a good balance of quality and value in my opinion. I've had really good experiences recording all sorts of things with it. Advantages ------------------ Good structure and easy setup. I like the built-in pop filter, the microphone is much more convenient to use for recording vocals. The stand is useful too, it's nice that you can detach the bottom part to…

Good value for money

So I decided to start this review by saying I'm a professional audio engineer, have been working for a while and am quite picky about microphones. I bought this microphone for a specific application, my daughter's virtual school classes. They have live chats every day, and the webcam we bought for my daughter's older computer had a built-in microphone that barely showed on the sound level meter at full power in the Windows audio settings. No one heard what she said, so I decided to find an…

Unable to connect to MacBook via USB-C, poor sound

Purchased to connect with a 2018 MacBook Air. Tried multiple USB-C cables (USB-C on both ends) and it didn't even show up as a USB device. All of these cables are suitable for other uses, including connecting to hubs, power supplies, and hard drives. I was only able to get the mic working using the included USB-C to USB-A cable and connecting it via a USB hub (which has multiple USB-A and USB-C ports), which I had to plug into . Plug in my Macbook's power adapter. I couldn't even use the Apple…
