I bought this mic because like a lot of other people I work from home and have Zoom/Webex/Microsoft Teams calls on a daily basis. While the audio from my headphone mic was adequate, it sounded awful and echogenic to me, so I really wanted to improve my audio setup. This mic does a GREAT job and is very easy to set up, literally plug and play. It's very sensitive, so the ideal is to place it on a shock-absorbing pad on your desk, about 8 inches to a foot from you, and just speak naturally. Serious. If your mouth is directly on the microphone (or even on the included pop screen), then you are too close. The result is a very crisp and clear sound. This mic will help you sound great in podcasts, videos, and conferences.
