These coats are very well made and cute, very easy to put on and take off. (Much better quality than coats I've seen at the pet store.) And the reflective strips are great for night time outings! BUT they run small! I have measured my dogs and bought the sizes from the chart but both coats are a bit tight. (The length is ok.) I recommend buying one size larger than the chart. (My 4.5 lb Maltese is 13.5" in circumference and a size 8 is too tight; my 47 lb Golddoodle is 28" in circumference and a size 22 is a little tight.) Unfortunately, the size 8 is priced too low. increased by $10 since I bought it four days ago. boo! (By the way, I always wear a harness ABOVE my coat. I bought a large harness for coat days; this works much better than trying to attach a leash to the harness under my coat.)
