Review on Bearhard Emergency Waterproof Resistant Survival by Jimmie Gebrehiwot

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Thin, crumpled, disposable, but nice digital camouflage print

I don't like to write negative reviews, but I will write an honest one. Let's call it a "criticism sandwich". Cons - The description is misleading if you thought it was a long term investment, say 6 months. If you're using it as an emergency shelter or blanket it can certainly help for a night, but I highly doubt it will withstand medium to high winds. The tarp itself is stiff, not as pliable or as thick as the regular tarp you get at Home Depot. There are only four grommets on each corner, but they seem to tear at the seams. It's as crumpled as butcher paper and I don't see how it could effectively wrap a person without leaving big air bubbles. I think your run-of-the-mill space blanket would work better as an emergency blanket. See demo video A. Positive - but a great picnic blanket for grass and non-rocky areas. The print is a nice digital camouflage, I think that's a pretty positive thing. Two stars for nice color print and attractive bear drawing. Negative again - definitely not super strong; Not for bushcraft or harsh weather conditions. The sad sound of a trumpet. I really wanted it to work.
