I was so curious to try velcro rollers and I'm glad I have a set now! I was curious how they would work with long hair and they still work, but it helps that the kit includes light pink, medium pink, and yellow clips just in case your hair doesn't hold up. (I personally need them.) There aren't enough clips for all the curlers, but there are enough clips for the amount of hair I have. If you have really thick hair or use curlers on multiple people, you may need to use some of the clips you already have. I think the curlers would hold up a little better if I had shorter hair. As I curl my hair there is less and less open Velcro to hold on to so the clips are comfortable. What I don't like about velcro roller skates is taking them off! There's a reason they work the way they do, and that's because hair sticks to them! However, this is not the fault of this particular product. It's just a kind of scooter. Personally, I won't use them often because I like the gentler ways of curling my hair. But they work fine. This is a good quality set. The only thing that could improve it a bit is a reusable bag. The set came in a plastic bag but I don't think it will last long. I keep the whole set in my makeup bag. Luckily, since the videos are interlaced, they don't take up much space.
