We use this in our homemade Ofuro/Rustic Hot Tub. Converter Adapter The power supply is connected to an Inkbird ITC-306T electronic heating thermostat, temperature controller and digital timer which, when triggered by a sensor monitoring the temperature of the water in the tank, activates a Flojet 03526-144A 12V DC automatic water supply pump that moves the water. from a 5 foot 134 gallon #225 Behlen tank ($140 at your local feed store), through a 3/4 inch 40 mesh Remes pressure washer filter and into a Camp Chef Triton L5 water heater , the propane dumps freshly heated water back into the storage tank. The outside of the storage tank is covered with 2 layers of 24" bubble wrap held in place with duct tape and there are 2 layers of bubble wrap on the water surface which help me maintain the water temperature. Two 3/4 inch lines ($1.49 each at your local hardware store) are installed around the top of the storage tank. The memory sits on 3 tiers of paving stones with a gap of about 4 inches between the stones in the middle. where we installed a retractable bathtub drain. Below the tank, in this gap, the drain connects to a 1-1/2" Hepvo one-way valve that attaches to the pool drain hose. We have used many other pre-made fittings, adapters and valves.
