I have been using and giving away these Ullo filters for over a year and have been impressed with their performance. This does NOT change the taste of the wine. This set is practical and the wide mouth carafe is easy to use with a filter. I've always liked red wine, but I've noticed a sulfate/sulfite sensitivity, especially with red wines. They're used to clean casks and preserve wines, and they can give me a headache before dark. When I pour my wine through these filters I don't have this problem, it's a miracle! There are also stirrers that are easy to take with you to dinner.
