Just what I need! Got my first road bike and started cycling a month ago. Baskets are a must, but I can't afford the ones that all enthusiasts recommend. It's awesome. Spacious: Enough room for laptop, lunch, duffel bag and shoes. Fit: They're boxy (i.e. roomy) so my heel was tight the first time, but I have a touring rack with lots of attachment points and these bags have lots of straps for flexible attachment. So after moving them to the other end of my rack and attaching the bags at a slight angle, they worked great without moving! Rainproof: They are truly waterproof even without a coating. I parked my bike in the rain for a couple of hours and when I came back the fabric was not soaked and dry on the inside. The coating makes them completely waterproof. Visibility: I also like to have a neon rain cover when I'm in heavy traffic and need more visibility. Portability: I don't plan on taking them off often, but once I got flat these bags were very light. Unhook the velcro, lift the center handle and I'm good to go. Appearance: I have to admit, I really like the stylish minimalist look. I'm tanned and love the color of my red '88 LeTour. These bags made cycling affordable for me. I'm so glad I got them.
