This photo is after washing and drying once or twice. It's cotton so it will definitely bunch up when you put it in the dryer. I haven't even read the care instructions but it's children's playwear and I definitely won't hand wash or line dry if she asks. My daughter is in first grade and it fits very well. In this photo, her pants are pulled up a bit, but they sit a little more on her hips. This is definitely a crop top that shows off your belly button. It is very reminiscent of the 80's as it is wider than it is long. The colors are purple and pink and this is a really cute little outfit that she loves. It's just a plain cotton shirt, but it sounds like a good song. All in all a nice summer outfit.
