Great for other sports

It's advertised for a cross country bike but I was looking for a heart rate monitor that I could wear for other contact sports where wearing a watch wasn't an option. It was fantastic for basketball, soccer and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. It's important to get a heart rate monitor that actually has built-in memory, as other monitors rely on being connected to either your smartphone or fitness machine and are useless without them. next to you. no You can't run across the soccer field with an iPhone in one hand. And no, your basketball friends and rivals don't really like you when you slash their faces with your smartwatch. and for jiu-jitsu, forget it. You and the smartwatch will not survive. With BJJs in particular, I was concerned that they would not withstand pressure, twisting and impact and would potentially injure my riding partner or fall over and just get in the way and be useless. Happy to report that none of them have a place. I wear it under a rashguard and don't think I'll try without it. It has a softer blue rubber ring that won't cut or leave sharp edges for you or your riding partner. The clasp was strong enough, I wear it quite tight. He didn't slide much at all. The back of the strap curves slightly downwards. but not enough to be a problem. It would be nice if there was some non-slip fabric sewn on the back of the strap. but it still works. I had a reel where the blue rubber ring came loose, apparently that's how you change the batteries every year. but it was easy enough to toss aside and put back on after tossing. And that was 1 of probably 50 litters I've been through with him now. I've never had a problem with not collecting my data or getting erratic heart rate results. All charts look correct after syncing and there are no unusual dips or spikes that would indicate bad data. Calorie counting is based on effort, not just time, you should seriously consider buying this heart rate monitor. It's amazing the difference between your perception of how two workouts were similar and the reality of how hard your body actually worked between the two workouts. Your mind lies to you about your body. The mind goes long before the body. Get some data to know what's really going on!
